In 2020, Michelle Church began the dream of being a farmer when she and her husband purchased the land and farmhouse. But it was at the end of the school year in 2021 that she began her new career as a farmer.

After 20 years of teaching, Michelle decided to take her love of learning in a different direction. She began taking classes on lavender and what it takes to start a lavender farm. From there, she decided to step away from the traditional classroom for a time and began (through much trial and error) her new adventure in agriculture.
